Bismuth is a pure metal element with symbol Bi and atomic number 83. As the toxicity of lead has become more apparent in recent years, there is an increasing use of bismuth alloys as a replacement for lead. Bismuth compounds are used in cosmetics, pigments, and a few pharmaceuticals, notably bismuth subsalicylate, used to treat diarrhea.
It is believed that the diverse colors of bismuth stimulate intellectual focus, while the charismatic rainbow hues enhance psychedelic visualizations and calm and strengthen the soul.
As a healing crystal, bismuth offers relief from acute and chronic illness, and imparts strength for recovery from surgery. Bismuth crystals boost the entire aura of the inner self and promote balance with the surroundings.
